European solidarity and Ham spirit in Mediterranean crisis

Anonymous and quiet heroes are helping those desperate migrants arriving to Italian coast at the present time, in the worst humanitarian tragedy ever seen in the mare nostrum.

Among those volunteers, there are a lot of members of the Palermo section of CISAR, an EURAO member association.

Their job is about assisting people coming from different countries and circumstances: poverty, hunger, wars, etc.; who are looking for a new life.

Radio amateurs (hams), usually dealing with individuals world wide, without distinction of race, sex or religious beliefs, perform this work without expecting anything in return, with no noise, receiving with an smile those who have been about to lose everything, even life.

Where governments fail, come the citizens and their organizations, working together for mankind.
